Original Feedback for Litcham Health Centre:

Excellent Surgery with excellent staff. The Surgery is well led and the best in the area.

I have been a Patient at Litcham Health Centre since 1992 and find it is a well led and excellent Surgery. All the staff are very helpful regardless of their jobs. We have three GP’s who work different days plus locums. Booking appointments in advance is a thing of the past, thanks to so many people missing them. If you cannot see a Doctor, you can ask to see a nurse or even get a phone call from them. At Litcham there is a team of Red coats who go out visiting patients that cannot get to the Surgery. We have many other different services which save time in going to the local Hospital. Emergencies get seen the same day. The GP in charge Dr Julian Brown who is also my GP is brilliant and forward thinking, he is responsible for putting many services into place. I see him on a regular basis, yes I might have to wait but he gives you the time you need. If you request a phone call you will always get one. He is involved with other projects that benefit not only Litcham Health Centre but other Health Centre’s as well. It’s easy to berate the Surgery but times have been hard since COVID and in the NHS generally, funding has not been there, thanks to broken promises from the outgoing Government . Let’s hope this changes soon. There is also a shortage of Doctors and Nurses we have lost many to other Countries.
