Original Feedback for Marham Surgery:

Diabetes review

Appointment booked at 9.10am to see Diabetic Nurse. Turned up & checked in at Reception 10mins before due time. 40mins later I’m still waiting. Asked at Reception to see what was happening & was told that I’d missed my appointment(!). I explained what was had happened - but clearly wasn’t believed & was told to sit down again & she would see what could be done. A few minutes later I was advised that the Diabetic Nurse was unable to see me during her shift but would try to ‘squeeze me in’ at the end of her shift at 11.30am. I’d already wasted an hour of my working day so advised that I would have to make another appointment another day. I’ve just phoned the surgery up to book another appointment to see her and have been advised that Marham Surgery is short staffed and is no longer able to book any appointments to see the Diabetic Nurse and that any acute Diabetic related issues/concerns need to be booked with a GP. I’ve been with Marham now for approx 2yrs and have yet to see any medical practitioner there of any discipline apart from 1x Covid Jab and 1x Blood Test (of which I’ve not been advised the results).
