Original Feedback for Millwood Surgery:

No flexibility or compassion

After trying for over a week to book an appointment for my 13 year old daughter through their website and being advised every time that the Surgery is now closed, I decided to telephone as, despite not needing an urgent on the day appointment, my need for an appointment is time sensitive. I was advised that there is no other way to book an appointment other than through their website and I would need to do that between the hours of 8.00am and 8.30am. I explained that due to work and school commitments I am not able to access the website at this time and was again advised there is no other way to book an appointment. I work at the local acute hospital and fully appreciate the pressures that all NHS services remain under following the pandemic, however, the total lack of flexibility or compassion shown both by the staff member and the system in place is inexcusable. I have already tried to access other services to avoid a GP appointment but have been advised it is only the GP that can help. Is it any wonder that so many non-emergency patients attend A&E.
