Original Feedback for Millwood Surgery:

We all have a choice

I really don't find this service at all under par! I have been with a few surgeries in my time and this one is no worse than others and better than some. I do work with the NHS so am perhaps more forgiving than the very exacting people who have been posting here. ALL the reception staff are professional and polite but they are restricted in their powers so yes, this would lead to patients getting disgruntled if they can't get what they want RIGHT NOW! If you can't get an to see anyone, it's because the surgery is at or over capacity therefore it really is nonsensical to say that it's impossible to get an appointment as blatantly, someone has! There are simply not enough doctors and too many people and it's only going to get worse with all the new housing developments springing up in the area, many thousands more patients, less and less doctors. Nobody can register with NHS dentists in the area anymore. It's a grim picture. Quite simply though, if you're so unhappy with your surgery, vote with your feet and join another if you think you can do better.
