IT booking/reception staff System failure

I was advised last week by a Dr to book a follow up appointment on a serious matter. I was advised to use the website to book it for the following week. I have attempted every day this week to try and book one for the following week but unfortunately there are either no appointments (for next week, to which there is availability) or I have to book at 0800 on the day or I have filled out the wrong form again once following a link I was given, and have to do it again the following morning. I can navigate an IT system but can't understand how on earth this system operates effectively when even a basic follow up appointment is impossible to achieve. I spent 45 mins waiting on the phone for guidance by reception only to get told I have to book through the webpage platform at 0800 the following morning. Mental health is pretty important when you work on the front line and the Millwood systems are failing me as I've now given up trying. A Dr was expecting me but I unable to attend as I cannot get through the system.
