Original Feedback for Millwood Surgery:

Impossible to get an appointment

I have an irregular heart beat, so when I became unwell an found there was no appointments. I subsequently called 111, and an ambulance was sent. An hour later I was advised that the ambulance allocated to me was diverted to another incident, and that there would be no other ambulance available for approximately 4 hours. The Ambulance Service conducted a telephone triage, for which they asked that I contact the GP today for an appointment the following day. I contacted the GP Surgery (Millwood), receptionist advised that they don’t arrange appointments for the following day, and that contact needs to be made Online. I explained that I have been referred by 111, & the ambulance service to arrange appointment for the following day but still didn’t listen, & in parrot fashion was told to apply online for an appointment. I was so ill that evening that I had to attend the James Paget Hospital wasting more NHS time, money & resources to be told that I need GP appointment. This morning at 8:09am applied online for an appointment to be advised that there are no appointments. What do these doctors do?
