I haven't been back to the dentist in 3 years

I went to the dentist to have a crown fitted. The dentist took ages on the temporary crown, and to my discomfort, was forced to do more injections than is normally required. Eventually, they decided to take the temporary crown off. The dentist said it won't take long. He was wrong. They couldn't get the temporary crown off and were forced to drill. While they were drilling, the dentist drilled my tongue. I had to have stitches which the dentist did. The stitches became festered, and then eventually burst when my tongue became swollen. After more injections, they managed to get the temporary crown off. When I called up to get a permanent crown fitted, the receptionist said the dentist was on maternity leave and that there wasn't anyone else available who could do it. I eventually got seen and a crown fitted. I was told that I had to pay at the beginning, plus an additional sum once the dentistry was completed. I asked if they were going to give any compensation for the stress and they said no. It was the most horrible situation and I haven't been back to the dentist in 3 years.
