Original Feedback for Newmarket Road Surgery:

Was brilliant service, now bad communication

For 23 years Newmarket Surgery has offered exceptionally high care from GPs and receptionists, even when busy and hard to get an appointment. Now there's no phone line and its so frustrating - I can't even discuss a time offered to see a GP. I was given a 3 week wait for an 8.30am phone consultation; when I wrote back (because you can't talk to a human anymore) 3 days later I was told sorry you now need a new date, that date is now full. The new date is 5 days later.! So it will be over 3 weeks for a phone consultation with a doctor not of my choosing (that GP is great but I started treatment with a different GP and would obviously like to see the same one, to follow up). Other GP practices in Norwich are answering the phones, why not St Stephen's/Newmarket Rd? There's almost no Covid in Norfolk and the practice is acting as if we are under seige. To not let patients speak to a receptionist is incredibly poor. I'm not just disappointed, I'm dismayed. Let us talk to you!!
