Overall good

I have had two children at the hospital. I used the delivery suite for the first. The midwives were great and attentive the first time round. With my second child I was sort of left to my own devices. The second time round, the hospital was very understaffed, and I didn’t actually get any pain relief during birth, because there were no anaesthetists available. This isn’t the staffs fault, they done what they could for me. I didn’t see many community midwives when I had my first child. I was living in Norwich at the time. I felt more looked after in South Norfolk. I could go to my GP surgery to see midwives. I saw different ones each time, which we didn’t mind too much. It would be nice for consistency if you could see the same midwives, as long as you had an option to change if you wanted to.
