Botox pain relief for Cerebral Palsy Patients

My son has Cerebral Palsy and we go regularly to the neurology department at N&N. The staff there are excellent. He did have a dedicated neurologist but now just see's one of a team. It's not an issue at the moment as he's fairly stable. He has to have regular botox injections to help his muscles and they normally give gas and air as they are very deep injections into his tissue but this offer has been withdrawn over the last 18 months (I'm told due to budget constraints). My son is 30 and has got used to it but I imagine for younger ones having these injections without pain relief could be quite traumatic.
