Support for incontinence could be better.

We're involved with a number of groups for people who have been affected by prostate cancer. Most of our members are very happy with services at the N&N, Urology in particular. You can be kept waiting for 40-50mins for your appointments but most people are sorted out all within one day. People do experience a degree of incontinence after their operation and we feel the initial support from the hospital can be lacking. It can be very difficult to get pads and I've pushed a man about, soaked in his own urine, which is somewhat degrading. Once you are referred to an incontinence clinic things are much better and you can get a 3 month supply through that. Our understanding is that there are different rules in different parts of the county and in some areas they are not allowed to give them out.
