Under-staffing leads to mistakes

I think the hospital do the best they can, but they are grossly understaffed. Last time I was admitted was on the weekend that the NHS system was hacked, which made everything a bit chaotic. Once I was in the system I was left on my own for hours and hours at a time. Then when I was on the inpatient ward, one nurse who was obviously rushed off her feet kept making mistakes with my medication; I was on 5mg when she thought I had been taking 10mg the whole time. I feel like if she had had some more staff around her she might have had time to read my records properly.
