No beds but space for surgery

1st operation cancelled. All help in S.D.A.U was very good. Lady who walked me to theatre was amazing. Nurses in theatre recovery very informative and helpful. There was no beds on wards for 7 female patients. I spent the night in theatre recovery with agency nurses. No toilet facilities, had to use a commode. No food offered until next morning. Still no beds on ward so transferred to D.P.U. Discharged at 5pm with temp and told still no beds. My information said if they did remove my gall bladder I would be in for 2-3 days but I had to recover at my sons. If It's a case of no beds but space for surgery, patient should be informed.
