Good experience, but needs more admin support

I was referred by my GP first to Cromer hospital and then to the N&N. I had to wait a year for my operation but that was so that my high BP could be resolved first. My actual experience was generally positive - I got a choice of time for my operation which was good. The actual procedure went very well and I felt well cared for. However, my operation was on a Saturday - when my wife needed to pick me up there were no receptionists available so finding me and then the discharge process was difficult. It felt a bit rushed. If they're going to offer Saturday appointments then the operations and administration behind it needs to match.
