Poor experience when admitted to hospital

I had to stay in hospital overnight and needed assistance to get out of bed to use the toilet. I rang the bell six time and I could see the light flashing on the nurses desk and I could hear the bell ringing but no one came to see me. I could see them chatting at the desk and continued their conversation rather than check I was okay. They left me in a wet bed for three hours. They also wouldn't tell my wife what ward I was on so she could visit me. I was prepared to finish my life. When my wife got to see me she discharged me because I was so unhappy there. I got no aftercare once I left either.
