Waiting times and costs

I had a problem with my knee and getting it looked at on the NHS was taking too long so I got referred to Spire. When there it took no longer than 5 minutes to do the scans etc. and was out before my appointment time. Why is it so different here? Also when you get scans done they make you wear two robes - one on the front and one on the back. Why don't they just tell you to wear suitable clothes for some scans? I was able to wear clothes that made it possible to get my leg out without changing into a robe. It's important that the patient takes some responsibility for their care. It must cost them a lot of money to keep washing all the robes.
