Can't speak highly enough of them

I can't speak highly enough of them. I had prostate cancer and they were great. It was going on for a couple of years - they took samples, I had operations and still have some collateral which it fine to deal with. I also had follow up appointments for 3/4 years. I have a heart condition too and it's managed well with 18 month appointments. I'm very happy with the support that's been offered to be from the hospital. I just don't understand why we can't do some positives around the good stuff the hospital does? Why aren't more stats released about the success they have - how many people they save every day or how many people survive cancer thanks to them? I've always got 100%! The NHS is a wonderful institution. My only slight niggle was I had a consultant who was hard to understand once and I did ask for him to clarify things a few times but it got embarrassing for him and for me. So I have to check with the sister nurse when I left the appointment. She was very nice about it though and even gave me a number to call for information if I needed it. The hospital was very clean - they were cleaning it all the time. The staff attitude it great and they're obviously overworked and never paid enough for everything they do. You can sometimes wait but you get great treatment so I can't complain.
