It's Okay

I have had two elderly parents use the hospital over the last year. For me it is important that the staff talk to the family or carers as the elderly patients do not always understand what is going on. The communication can vary depending on what department you are dealing with and it can be very frustrating if the phone is on the wrong ward. The discharge process needs to be improved, you can be waiting at 10am and it doesn't happen till 6pm. It may be a little thing but having the right size pyjamas is so important for a patients dignity.
