Good experience with cancer treatment

I started my cancer treatment at Oak Street Medical Practice and it was all very quick. They referred me to the hospital quickly and my feet barely touched the ground. I went to the hospital for 37 days of radiotherapy to treat the cancer. The hospital and my doctors were very good and very supportive throughout the whole experience. While I was at the hospital for my treatment I agreed to take part in some research where students took my blood. I think when you're 82 you're happier to take more risk and I'm always happy to help train medical students. They've also updated me recently to say they're going to be publishing the results soon. Thankful my wife nagged me to go now - I have a few side effects on my bowel from the radiotherapy but I'd presume it's not as bad as dying from cancer. I've had good care throughout my cancer experience and worked as an engineering tutor until I was 80. I've been lucky.
