Problems with cancer diagnosis

Originally I got the wrong diagnosis of ovarian cancer - even though I have no ovaries and I told them this. I had another biopsy done, and heard nothing of the results. An appointment was booked for me with the consultant, I got notified by post, and only in that meeting did I find out that I had cancer as they assumed I had been given the results. They were talking about me having an operation even though I didn't realise what was wrong. Anyway, this appointment was on a Thursday and I was booked in for the op on the Tuesday. I wasn't told I would be fitted with a stoma - only when I woke up did I realise. This was over Christmas of 2017.
