Long time to be discharged

I have been waiting a long time to be discharged - it's been 4 days since they originally started talking about me leaving. Now that I'm in the discharge lounge there's a further delay in getting my papers, although it was particularly slow getting down from the ward to here. It seems like their left hand doesn't work with their right hand - there's a lack of communication and continuity. The food has been inedible, felt like I haven't had a decent meal whilst I've been there. The soup I can only really describe as damp. That said, the staff particularly the health assistants on the ward work so hard, I have huge admiration of them.
