Excellent support through a scary time

I was treated for breast cancer at the N and N last year. I was diagnosed following a routine mammogram. I had to have surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and have also had some reconstructive procedures. Throughout the whole experience, staff have been so supportive. At times it was scary for me but staff were on hand to offer advice and support as and when I needed it. The atmosphere on the ward during chemotherapy sessions is amazing. I was put in contact with some support sessions which I went along to. The ladies there had lots of useful advice and gave me things like special packs of treats to help during the chemotherapy. For anyone going though treatment be assured there is so much support there for you so don't be scared.
