A long wait for stomach pain

I went to the hospital a couple of weeks ago as I had bad stomach pains, I had to go to A and E as my doctors was closed (it was in the evening). I had to wait a few hours to be seen, the hospital was really busy. I asked when I would be seen as I was in pain (I had been given painkillers) but the nurse could not give me an idea of how long it would be as the doctors were very busy. I was seen by a doctor a few hours after I got to the hospital who gave me some advice about what was wrong with me and same tablets to take and then I was sent home. I felt a bit annoyed that I had been sent home after waiting for that long, I expected the doctor to do some more tests, but she said I would be ok to go home and if I have any more problems to go to my own doctor.
