Nurses were amazing, they are let down
16th May 2018I had exploratory surgery and was left in agony on the ward. The nurses were repeatedly calling for pain relief and none arrived for over 4 hours. The care from the nurses was amazing, but I feel like they are sometimes left dealing with problems not of their doing.

They were excellent
16th May 2018Me and my partner have both had cancer treatment at the hospital. They gave us out of hours phone numbers and we could always call them for support. Never had a problem there. Considering they were rushed off their feet, they were excellent.

Don't always listen
16th May 2018I stayed in the hospital due to a lung condition, but I also had a fractured shoulder at the same time. I found that they don't always listen to patients. The staff in general are very nice, but very busy. I couldn't shower with my shoulder injury and found it difficult moving around but this was forgotten by staff a lot. There were no beds on the chest ward so I was put on ENT, every time I spoke with staff they had to call the chest ward before doing anything.

Treated well by staff
16th May 2018I was taken into A&E with severe abdominal pain. I had an ultrasound and other tests. I had a problem with my immune system, currently receiving ongoing treatment for the problem. I wasn't waiting a long time and was treated well by the staff.

Compassionate
16th May 2018I had an operation on my prostate last year and they were very good. My wife who has Alzheimer's has been in on numerous occasions. They are always courteous, considerate and compassionate with her.

Staff are very good
1st May 2018Sometimes you have to wait but the staff there are always very good. You can get a cup of coffee. It's just a shame it's so far away. Difficult to get to from Diss and we aren't able to drive anymore. We can get non-emergency transport if we need to.

Make you cry with laughter
30th April 2018I've visited the the podiatry department and they are very good at what they do. They make you cry with laughter and are good at keeping you motivated.

Elsey Bertram team
30th April 2018I'm registered with the Elsey Bertram Diabetic Clinic and they are very good carers. There are some new staff that still need more training overall they are good. The dietitians are very good too. You have to wait a while for appointments but they've got so many people to see.

Couldn't fault them
30th April 2018Couldn't fault care or after care during the birth of my child. No continuity with the community midwives but to be expected. We weren't dissatisfied and understand they're busy. They were lovely, weighed our baby and routine things.
