Not providing diabetes footcare

Martham Health Centre don’t provide footcare for people with diabetes anymore. I’m 80 next year and I’m diabetic. Because I look after my feet I have to pay £25 every 6 weeks to get them checked because it’s not provided by the surgery anymore. My diabetes eye screening used to be done at the community centre. Last time I has to go all the way to Yarmouth for it. This is a three quarter of an hour bus journey for me. I have to get the bus because I can’t drive after the tests. I have the get the bus alone afterwards when I can’t see very well. It used to be a 2 minute walk for me. Why isn’t it at James Paget if it had to be somewhere else? At least that’s on a proper bus route so I don’t have to cross roads when I can’t see. It’s not always convenient to ask someone to take me because people are busy or working.
