Original Feedback for NHS Norfolk and Waveney:

0 NHS dentists within miles of county

You simply cannot access dental care in Norfolk on the NHS as a new adult patient. Full stop. The nearest accepting dental practice for me is actually somewhere in Essex, who cannot even guarantee me treatment. I have been unable to access dental care in six years, even in an emergency where an infection affected my entire face to the point of being unable to sleep or eat for multiple days at all. Attending hospital resulted in a "magic code" that I was assured would enable me access with "any NHS dentist as an emergency", however the single practice within 70 miles that said anything but a flat no to this was Norwich Community, whose single NHS dentist was allegedly on holiday every time I called for weeks. I was refused any care at all for this infection beyond specifically life-saving care and was forced into unnecessary pain that kept me bedridden for 3-4 weeks being refused care by anyone at all. Simply disgraceful. Nobody I know who lives in Norfolk who is under the age of 40 and lived here since childhood has an NHS dentist and private care is astonishingly expensive and still extremely difficult to register for even in an emergency. Frankly, the state of things here is horrifying, disgusting, and truly, truly shameful. I genuinely don't believe I will ever be able to access dental care again so long as I live here.
