Not fit for purpose and not to be trusted

Consultant recommended 'Fast Track' for my aunt as she wanted to leave hospital to die at home. Hospital Continuing Care nurse agreed and applied for funding but Continuing Care Admin said needs can be met by Social Services so not Fast Track? But as she had an ISA, Social Services could not fund and my aunt was traumatised being told she would have to self fund all of her end of life care, after paying NI and taxes all of her life. My aunt died in NNUH 16 days later, not having got home & taking up a hospital bed she did not want to be in. I'm so angry. System is a disgrace.
