Awful

I had a very tough time getting my son referred for attention deficit disorder from his GP. Once this finally happened, an educational therapist from NCC came to observe my son in school. They went in to one of his classes for less than an hour, and told me there was no problems. This was despite me telling them about violent behaviours he had demonstrated to my husband. I was then visited by social services and felt like I was having my parenting judged. This put a lot of stress on me and my mental health suffered. I even considered putting my son into care because I couldn't cope. Eventually he was prescribed medication and he is much better. But this was process was awful, and it could have turned out a lot different.
