Connecting dots in provision is a challenge

I'm a support group coordinator at NSFT, and sometimes I struggle to connect the dots around what is out their for people who attend our groups. Both in terms of training and ways to progress their skills, but also other issue-specific services. I find the monthly Help Hub bulletins sent out by NCC useful, but a central information point which lists everything out there would be useful too. I also think the culture of short-term commissioning is counter-intuitive. For example, on occasion I have referred a client to a group, only to find that the service no longer exists. I would say services need to be commissioned for a minimum of five years; when everything is changing all the time it's difficult to know what is out there.
