Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

Make it relevant to the review

As a service provider, you can leave your response to the original review and the reviewer will be notified of this. However, they will not be able to reply to your response, but can get in contact with Healthwatch Norfolk if they wish to pass any comments along. Adult social care - poor service

My father was living at home but needed to go into a care home as was struggling. When we contacted social services their response was "who is going to pay?". They were very unhelpful and we got very little support in sorting out a care home, so dad ended up staying at home. He had carers coming in but sometimes they would only stay for 15 minutes at a time with no real supervision. There was no real assessment of his needs, it fell to us as the family to look after him. There was poor communication between his GP practice and the council in terms of his needs and care so he wasn't properly looked after
