Difficult getting my husband to agree to help

It's hard to work out what support is available, what support we need and actually getting my husband to agree to having it. He thinks he can cope with it and doesn't need the support but it worries me that if I were to go into hospital then he'd be stuck without everything I do around the house as his carer. We've been in touch with people for grab rails to support my husband's return from hospital and they were great. The doctors in Wymondham have given me a form to fill in to declare I'm his carer but I've just not had time to do it yet. My husband is 85 years old and he's not driven for ages. He really wants to drive but I'm worried about it because his reflexes aren't what they used to be.
