Need to be more aware of autistic spectrum

The medical professional need to be more aware of the autistic spectrum. The knowledge they have seems to be going downhill. Health professional's just aren't understanding of it at all! Our GP has been good about it but other than that. They referred by son with autism to a group to help with his mental health... It just wasn't appropriate. They should listen to people with autism because they're honest and will say what they're thinking.
