A safe space for children

We have been using children's services for 7 years. Generally I am satisfied, the building is a bit dated in places, but my son, aged 10 loves coming here, he enjoys the games and interactive things in the waiting room. It took 18 months to get initial appointment, then another 2 years to get here. I like that there's now a separate entrance and exit to children's services: if you have a child with more complex needs it's helpful. Adjusting the car park was a good move too: last time we came we had to park in main car park, which can be difficult with a child on the spectrum. Not having to go to the main hospital is great, N&N can be overwhelming for children. The size of this site is easier to manage, my child feels more included and calm as he knows it will just be other children and their parents in the waiting room. I don't feel judged here by staff or other parents.
