    Appointments

It’s very hard to get a face to face appointment these days. They only seem to do morning surgery which is 8:30am to 12:30pm after that they will only see you if it is an emergency. 8:30am to 12:30pm is not always a convenient time for me due to work commitments. I also don’t understand why they ask you what doctor you want to see on their forms as you never get to see who you want anyway. I like to see my own doctor for my on going health and mental health problems. Due to my mental health I suffer a lot with trust issues and find it easier to have one doctor I trust and feel comfortable with when visiting the doctors. If they aren’t in that day I am quite willing to wait until they are in. I have not had a face to face appointment with my own doctor in a while and this has put me off making appointments even when I really need to see my doctor. What’s the point of having a named doctor if you can’t see them. I would also like to know what they class as an emergency ! Cos at the end of the day you wouldn’t call the surgery if it was an emergency you would be calling an ambulance or taking yourself to A + E !!!
