Original Feedback for Paston Surgery:

Gone downhill

I've been with this practice for 30 years but feel it's really gone downhill. I feel there are too many part-time GP's and generally over a 3 week wait for an appointment. I don't actually know who my GP is there. You're always asked if it is an emergency which makes me think, well if it was I wouldn't be calling. I deal with this surgery and others in the local area in a professional capacity for my work which has really highlighted the differing standards of service so I am looking to change. The other practices are much better at calling you back and following up on things. One lady I deal with tried to mention another problem to a dcotor and was told if she wanted to talk about that she needed a double appointment. Your health is a holistic thing and you cannot therefore treat people's conditions in isolation. The individual people are good but it's the management of the place.
