Original Feedback for Sheringham Medical Practice:

Helpful but treatment rather delayed

Contacted medical centre because my husband woke up deaf in one ear. Advised to take ear drops for 2 weeks in preparation to have ear syringed. Still no better. GP then referred to the hospital and when we arrived we were told it was a medical emergency and he should have been seen within 48 hours because it was probably an infection. Now permanently deaf in one ear. Also, in order to get a hearing aid fitted at Cromer Hospital, (which would be much nearer to us than the Queen Elizabeth Hospital) we would have to start the referral procedure with the GP all over again. Considering finding an independent organisation to fit the hearing aid.
