When I rang up for an appointment…

I was told a doctor would ring back. I'd prefer to have consultations face-to-face rather than over the phone. They should give patients the option between a phone and face-to-face consultation. Treatment wise, they are very good. I think doctors should (if they don't), or could signpost/refer patients to certain classes and services within the area that are free, or cost to attend which may help your treatment. They should have a good geographical knowledge and an idea of the services provided within the local community. I do a low impact conditioning class which is a gentle exercise class which I pay for but the difference it makes to my life is worth the cost.
