Years of problems

I've had an ongoing issue since 2004. I was diagnosed with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. I had to really push for this, went through several appointments and eventually had to bring my mum along with me to get listened to. I was never asked about my cycle even though I complained about having heavy periods. I asked several times for my hormones to be looked at but they weren't. I've only just found out that I have endometriosis, which should have been picked up on. For years I've been told that there was nothing wrong and now I'm at the point where I may not be able to have a baby. I feel like I'm not taken seriously as a woman. There's no communication. I was referred to Chelsea & Westminster hospital and I've had to act as a go-between, the GP took ages to sort out a blood test the hospital needed. I raised a complaint in the end but I never actually received an apology. When you ask for things to be done you have to chase them, you really have to push on everything. Our referral to the fertility clinic hadn't been sent until I asked, there's just no communication. It doesn't feel like there's any patient care, it's happened again and again.
