Please make access easier for the elderly

It is such a rigmarole to get an appointment. I waited on the phone for just over an hour. Lots of elderly people are unable to use the online form and have to wait far too long on the phone. I think the surgery needs extra staff to answer the phones. Once you eventually get to speak to someone they then ask lots of questions. This is an unkind system, it takes too long! It is also unacceptable to ask patients especially if they are frail, elderly or have small children to queue outside the surgery in the cold and wet. There should have been a canopy or gazebo put up at the start of the first COVID lock down. Please try to make access to your surgery easier for elderly patients.
