Really Good Surgery
22nd September 2022Generally it is a really good surgery. I find everyone there to be friendly and efficient. I've had the occasional hitch with them, mainly due to lack of communication. Overall I am very happy.

Fine
22nd September 2022My only issues with the surgery is that they struggle to take my blood. I've had a few bad experiences with that and now have to go to the hospital to have it done. Everything else is fine. I emailed them about some issues I had with my leg and the doctor asked me to come in for an appointment. He clarified the issue I was having very quickly and put my mind at ease. I like that I can call or go online to book an appointment. I can always be seen.

Very Good
22nd September 2022It's fine here usually, pretty good really. The doctors I've seen have all been very good. I never have to wait long at the dispensary. Andrea who works in there is brilliant! I did struggle to get an appointment at the end of last week, but I think that was because of the sudden bank holiday. I walked in today to try again and they've told me the doctor will call me this afternoon and I'm happy with that.

Great
22nd September 2022I think it's good here. It's very close to my house, so very convenient for me. It was great to be able to get my covid booster and flu jab here. I didn't have to wait long at all. They told me the doctor would call me and he called at the exact time they said he would, which was great!

Good Treatment
22nd September 2022The surgery is practically on my doorstep, so it's very convenient. The treatment I receive is good. I think they never have enough doctors, but I suppose that is the case everywhere now. I think they do quite well here really.

HOW NOT TO TREAT A PATIENT
26th July 2022Spoke to a person concerning my records, as claiming Pips i needed this information. Which was not on my patient summary given to me by the surgery. Person asked what info i was looking for, i said i didn't want to talk in reception about this nor in front of other patients. I was then asked if i could write it down. I can not explain how i felt, the worst part of my life written down on a scrap piece of paper in reception. I managed to hold myself together until i left.

Ear wax removal
9th July 2022I am requesting the reinstatement of ear wax removal at the surgery. I have been waiting over a month for treatment and am still waiting for an appointment. The private sector is no better and there is at least a month waiting for £80 fee and no appointments available at Specsavers. This is not a complex procedure and would enhance the wellbeing of patients enormously. I hope the situation can be remedied.

Need to read prescription request
27th June 2022Sent in for 4 repeat meds. 2 are inhalers which are x 2 to one prescription. So far 1 item approved sent out alone. Deliberately making asthma meds unaffordable as despite being 2 of each they send just one of each of your lucky. For past 4 months have failed to get one prescription correctly. They literally have to put in the CoRrECT volume as no option online to choose 1 or 2 to do everything for them. So ordered in total 6 items. How many clicked on one just one. Shame patients are charge per prescription and you get charged even if your fox sent out wrong prescription online or even if they click on it. They also need to stop surgery paid for yet another review whichbyr not due. Surgery just put on here oh ring us. How about helping yr patients first by reading prescription requests correctly. It’s one click one. So easy
