The staff are good company and they look after me.

The staff look after me and I get on alright with them. They are good company and they are good at helping us. One of them is a bit of a joker and we have fun and they are all very nice. Sometimes I do have to wait a bit but they have got more than just me to look after. I like being here, the staff are friendly., I was cold the other night and they just got me extra blankets, with no problems. I have a lovely room and when I moved in my grandson was able to arrange it for me to make it more like mine at home. They even let me bring my own chair and table to have in the sitting room. I do like the food and sometimes my daughter brings strawberries and cream and sometimes prawns. I like the porridge here is is so smooth and creamy. I chose to eat my dinner in the sitting room as I do not like eating in front of other people and they are fine with it. I enjoy the jigsaws but it can be difficult if I'm not sitting up well enough to see properly. I enjoy some of the activities, like the ukulele player, that's brilliant. We also had some visiting frogs and snakes which we could hold, I used to hold frogs when I was a child so that was nice. I also held a snake. We've also got small ponies coming to visit and we are going to have a mini fete. I also liked throwing the big beach ball. The staff throw it to you and say your name, it keeps you alert. I would rate the home at least 4 and a half stars out of five.
