Original Feedback for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital:

Lovely staff but long waiting time

I was at the hospital for an operation and I was told to be there at 7:30am in the morning. I didn't go into theatre for my operation until gone 3 or 4pm and so by this point I hadn't eaten or drank anything since the previous night. I appreciate there are people who are having more important operations than me, but they would've had a provisional list of order and so would know I would be near the bottom. They could've got me in at lunch time or something to start my wait. The staff were lovely and couldn't have done anything more in the situation in hand but in terms of process, this could be improved. The team of staff as I was going in for my operation were brilliant and reassured/calmed me as I was very nervous.
