Original Feedback for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital:

Doesn't seem fair

My doctor referred me to the QE for a knee operation, but they wouldn't touch me due to my weight. My doctor was very persistent and I managed to get both my knees done at the N&N. They said it was rubbish and that the QE just don't want any difficult cases because they need to get numbers through etc. I have an umbilical hernia and they won't touch that either. It feels like they have a zero tolerance policy on anyone obese. It doesn't seem fair. I've been to the hospital 3 times on an emergency basis and my treatment in A&E has been very good but I feel the patient care in these matters has been very poor.
