Maternity

My birth was very quick and everything went okay. When I went into the hospital the midwife initially said I wasn't far enough along to be admitted into maternity ward. Me and my partner refused to leave and the baby was born within 10 minutes, so I'm glad we didn't start to drive home. I saw the community team at my local GP surgery and this worked well for me as I live very close. After birth, I was on the ward. It was quite difficult to get discharged, because they needed to see my baby feed, but every time I fed baby, the midwives weren't around.
