Original Feedback for The Queen Elizabeth Hospital:

Roxburgh Children's Centre

My child was diagnosed adhd. When we went to the hospital after being diagnosed we were asked if we'd like to try Meds we were sceptical but thought we'd try them for my child, also we were put on a waiting list for parenting classes/groups. First Meds we tried seemed to help but after a while on them my child became depressed so tried a few different ones. Each ones didn't seem to work well and my child couldn't eat on them either which didn't help them or their behaviour. So we decided to stop the Meds but when we spoke about it with the hospital they have now discharged my child and said any problems can still speak to them. We feel now because my child is not on Meds we get no help. Luckily they are at a special needs school but still has good and bad days. It's been a few years now since the adhd diagnosis.
