Visit to the nurse

I came in for a smear test. Firstly the nurse checked to see if I have any problems with the test, if I usually struggle with discomfort or pain. I have never had a nurse acknowledge the fact that this can be a painful experience. I have endometriosis, this is always painful for me. After she took the time to talk about my problems. She didnt once brush off what I was saying, and she understood. It was so different to what I've experienced before. I actually left quite emotional and touched by the kindness of this wonderful woman.
