Mixed experience
26th February 2020My personal experience here has been fine, but we've had a bad time with my brother around 2 years ago. The doctor lowered his medication without liaising with the psychiatrist. This really affected him at the time, and he is in crisis now. I know MH services are stretched but we can't understand how this was allowed to happen. We did email at the time but never heard back. My personal experience has been excellent though, I've seen Dr Gillibrand and Dr Turner who are both excellent. Dr Turner especially so as she supported me through a mental health crisis. She was so clear and supportive, I really would sing her praises

not always able to get an appointment
10th December 2019It's annoying to not always be able to get an appointment, the receptionists aren't understanding but the doctors are good. It would be great if Saturday clinics could be extended, and it would be an improvement if admin staff could be more understanding

Aren't very attentive
10th December 2019They aren't very attentive and don't always address the issue. They didn't give me medication on my first visit, I had to pester them to get it. However the staff generally are nice, I feel treated with respect

Often a long wait
10th December 2019There's often a long wait in the waiting area, my treatment wasn't particularly useful though. However they staff are polite and nice and it's convenient as a student

Effective and efficient,
10th December 2019They're effective and efficient, I only use when needed although I have had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment before. Getting an appointment isn't always consistent and often depends on cancellations. But staff are respectful

Very efficient
10th December 2019I went there for a vaccination, the nurses were very friendly but the appointment was about 20 minutes late and I wasn't told of this on arrival. A while ago I went for a sore throat but it wasn't very helpful as the doctor couldn't see my records as I'm an international student. Other than that they are very efficient, the doctors are friendly and the sign-in tablet is useful

Good experience
10th December 2019I've had a good experience here, I was able to have an annual blood test and they understood and reassured me. They explained the benefits and risks well - the appointment was short but helpful. The problem not is that there's a 1 month wait for an appointment, this is a long time. I didn't know about the option for emergency appointments but it should be better promoted

Not treated well on phone
10th December 2019I was not treated well last time I called and was laughed at on the phone. I was waiting to be passed on to another member and never was. Eventually after calling back I was put through and apologised to. Some improvements that could be made include using more technology and doing more flexible appointment times especially if it's urgent

Wife and children like the GPs
28th November 2019My wife and children are registered here and they really like the GPs and the systems of how they run. I'm not yet registered and was told that I had to provide a proof of address which I don't yet have. I'm not ill right now so happy to wait.

Well respected but long wait
28th November 2019At the moment I've used the doctors once a week for the last 12 weeks, I feel well respected here but I did wait 6 months for my first appointment. I would like it if longer sessions were offered
