Refused a Properly Authorised Prescription

The script staff at the practice telephoned me and would not authorise a prescription asked for by a Consultant at the hospital, and authorised by the GP at the surgery without giving me a valid reason. It was medication preparing me for a surgery which I have recently received. In their view, because I had one injection in hand I was not entitled to the next prescribed injection which had already been authorised by the hospital and the GP at the surgery. I do not appreciate clerical staff "playing God" with my medication.
