Mental Health sufferers are ignored

When asking for the GP to read an important letter provided by a college specialist concerning support provided by college for communication needs. Considering that this specialist is speech and language therapy trained, the GP couldn't be bothered twice to read it in the appointment. When the last doctor had this practice every independant support letter was photocopied for my file. An interest was taken in helping me and understanding my needs. This is not an issue of time as I had a double appointment. I felt disregarded and ignored. Really doesn't help a patient like me. Reduces my confidence further. Shame but I am looking to change service provider to a surgery with more accessible doctors.
