Dissatisfied
Went into the pharmacy today for someone to look at my daughters skin condition behind her ears, showed the man on the counter (who was lovely) and he said he needed to talk to the pharmacist, which he did and anti allergy medication was suggested! I said it wasn’t a allergy and how would he know with out seeing it, so the man went off again to see if the pharmacist would look, he basically refused to look at my daughter and hid behind the counter, and said for us to go to the wall in centre! ... I had driven a way to get there today so not at all pleased with the customer service. Went to roundwell pharmacy and the pharmacist looked straight away at it and prescribed steroid cream! Which Boots could have helped with In the first place and took the whole of 1 minute for her to assess! Boots you really should have done better.

So slow
They are so slow, they stand around talking about what they did at the weekend with a massive great queue. They used to have a locker - it would be good to have that back to cut down the queues.

Stood like an idiot
Only myself In the queue, was told by the 2 most unhelpful people I have ever met that someone would be with me in a minute. After standing like a naughty schoolchild I left.

racial discrimination of one staff from the pharmacy
came to get my monthly prescription. i paid prepayment prescription fir 1 year.

was told my certificate has expired. i wasn't sure when ir will expire though.

so i paid instead fir 2 prescriptions. left store but came back because i found my receipt when i purchased the PPC.

the staff wont accept my receipt. eventhough i still have 5 mo ths left on it.

she eont regumd my money back, instead keep wuestioning me about the validity of my reveipt implying that i am a fraud . she kept repeati
... ng in my face " you know tyou'll be fine if this is not real, the receipt, embarrasding me in front of my kids smd other customers.

she check online and told me my PpC has expired, how can it be when i purchasedbit aug 2024, so i still have a few mo ths left. the moment i spproach her, i told her, i font like your tone in talking to me, belllitlling me, when she asked for my details i, i said my name .

when she didnt understand, i tried to spell it for her to understand but she snapped "i dont wanna know you". well she asked gor my name.

very rude the very first instsnt. i wad treated like i was somebody who is trying to commit fraud.

she keep repeating " youll be fine if this is not real, the receipt" i work for nhs (nnuh) for 17 years, my husband is a theater nurse, my daughter is a nurse, i pay tax and a brotish citizen, but to be treated like that and humiliate me in front of others is unacceptable. to doubt the validity of their own receipt and imy to me that i'm lying is unacceptable.

the receipt clearly states nhs prepayment 1 year, which i pai £114. and something.

and they tell me , i probably boyght domething froms the shop and not the pharmacy? this lady is clearly racist. the moment i approach her, her demeanor quickly change and treated me differently.

i was upset broke down in tears on one side out of embarrassment and anger. this ki d of staff should not be working dealing with customers directly, a racist , unfriendly, impatient, no work manners snd etiquette.

i noticed how she treatedothet customers differnetly when they are british customers, smiles and friendly at them.sheshould be dealt with accordingly.

she gives the shop a bad reputation. i was traumatised by the way she treated me.

It's so slow
The pharmacy on Aylsham Road is so slow. There are no pharmacists and it is closed often. I have recently changed to another one near Asda.

Went in to use pharmacy first service, pharmacist was dismissive, uncaring and unprofessional. Pharmacy technician was helpful within my limited interaction.
After asking to have a chat with the pharmacist I was directed to sit down directly next to the que of people waiting for the tills, and after a short wait the pharmacist came out. Despite being able to see a private booth which was unoccupied the pharmacist proceeded to quiz me in the open shop floor.

He did this whilst standing over me, forcing me into a very small position. I felt his tone was dismissive of the problem.

He advised me that the GP probably wouldn't be interested, and that t
... here wasn't very much I could do. I left embarrassed, in pain and quite upset.

A subsequent visit to the doctor prompted a same day appointment, and bloods.

Poor
Waited with my 83 year old 25 minutes to see the pharmacist- the other staff (who were pleasant) said she was filling in a form and with be with us shortly. I checked 3 times and was told she was filling in a form and would be with us in a minute. We g gave up after 25 and went elsewhere.

Pharmacy
After waiting 20 to 25 mins for precription doctor had sent through 3 days before ended with a non uniformed lady giving me a load of verbal abuse. All i had stated was that other people who came much later than me were dealt with and collecting their prescriptions.

All said by this lady at the top of her voice. I was left speechless by her uncalled for rudeness.

Needless to say i will never be going to Boots pharmacy ,hardwick ever again. This on friday about 12.

Pharmacist rude and unhelpful
I had just come out of hospital after being admitted from A&E with my third pulmonary embolism - all four lobes of the lungs and lung damage. I had been prescribed apixaban indefinitely and was told I could collect the medical emergency cards from my local pharmacy.

I was very poorly, scared and could not walk more than a few metres so my husband went in to ask for the cards so I can carry them in case of emergency. The pharmacist “told him off” like a child that they don’t have the card
... s and that they only come with the medication and we hadn’t put in a prescription yet.

We were told by the hospital we could collect the cards from a pharmacy! To have only one card from the box of pills was not helpful when I want to have them in various purses, bags, work gear and pockets. My job means I need to drive around or may even get a bruise or cut… this attitude was appalling and upsetting when we were already stressed and upset.

I complained via the Boots FB messenger service. My first complaint was 070224.

I was told I would get a response from the pharmacy in 72 hours. It is now 080324 and I have now complained 3 times with more than 72 hours between each.

Boots message to say they are shocked I haven’t had a response and chase it but nothing happens. This seems to reflect the lack of care from this particular Boots pharmacy.
